Good Morning Everyone! Have you taken a look outside yet to see the MOUNDS of snow we receieved last night?.

Sorry about the 2 same posts (it shows how much my mother knows about posting a blog,haha poor mommy, she will eventually get the hang of it, I was in bed when she attempted to post it). I would delete one of them if I could but I can't, something went wrong. So we are all just going to have to read it twice (you will get a better sense of it if you read it twice anyways)

Pioneer Club=SUCCESS!

For those of you that don't know, we had a Pumpkin Party for Pioneer Clubs last night for the kids, their friends and their families. Wanna know how many kids? 57 KIDS! and that doesn't include their families and on top of that all the leaders. The kids enjoyed things such as apple bobbing, pumpkin bowling, pumpkin games, cookie decorating, crafts and a creepy science lab that Stefan and Laura put together (well done guys, heard lots of good things and creepy gross things about it). It was a great night and we also had some great costumes.

(when i saw this it made me think of my Dad. I know it is talking about the beginning of the football season and we are just coming to an end, but i still had to put it up there. Hope you all get a laugh out of it!)

Before i forget, I just wanna wish the men as they are off to a weekend of relaxing, fellowship, GREAT food in Panorama, BC. Safe drive and hope you all have fun!

Mens Trip To Panorama

Hey guys - this weekend we are heading to Panorama BC for a fun filled weekend of fun, friendship building and fellowship. The first van will leave at 10am and the second van at 5pm. Don't forget to pack your Bibles, Swim suits and your food.

Keep the faith Bucs fans - Go Bucs Go

Capt Les' favorite NFL Football team - the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pulled off an amazing accomplishment when they kicked a 62 yard field goal to win the game. It is only the third time in NFL history that a kick this long was made. Way to go Bucs!!!

This game was truly about having faith in your team. Sorry about your eagles Stefan, it was a valiant attempt!

Pumpkin Party!

Thursday Night at 6:30pm for Pioneer Club we will be having a Pumpkin Party at the church. This is for children and their family. The more the merrier!!! If anyone is interested in bringing PEANUT FREE snacks please contact Jon or Tracy Savage at 780-458-1937. Come out for a fun time including food, pumpkin games, play games and singing!! Men's Retreat!

Unfortunately, Men's Promise Keepers which was going to be held in Regina, Sask. next weekend is all sold out. BUT Captain Les has organized a "Men's Retreat" in Panorama B.C in place of Promise Keepers next weekend. The price is $125.00 for the weekend and that includes transportation, accomodation and food arrangemnts. THIS IS FOR ALL AGES! If you are interested in attending, Contact Captain Les A.S.A.P!!!!!

Sunday Musings!

Today in church Captain Tiffany lead us through Revelation Chapter 4 and reminded us of John's vision of heaven. Next week sermon # 3 in the series of 7, Captain Tiffany will once again lead us in the book of Revelation.

As well as music from the worship team such as - "How Great Is Our God", " Celebrate Jesus Celebrate", "Worthy is the Lamb" and "Offering".

Before the service, we had a good turn out for our "Toast Fellowship" which commenced at 9am. Thank to Walter and Susan Kwak for their gourmet delights.

Envelopes!!

Do you find yourself really bored after work?...Well do we have a job for you! We need 50, 000 envelopes stuffed to go out for our Christmas Campaign, and if you are REALLY interested you can bring your own box home (each with 500 envelopes and inserts inside). Although Edmonton didn't win last night against the Vancouver Canucks, stay tuned and watch the re-match game in Edmonton at Rexall starting at 7:00pm tonight against the Vancouver Canucks. GO OILERS GO!

AND if you are not busy Wednesday you can watch the Toronto Maple Leafs play Colodardo Avalanches starting at 7:30pm. GO LEAFS GO!! woo hooo!!

Church Fellowship Night - CANCELLED

Hey hey everyone...

Do too circumstances beyond our control we have had to cancel this months Church Fellowship Night. Don't be too sad everyone - it will return in November!

Praise God!!

Wow! If you missed out on church today, you missed a hip hoppin' service! The worship today was unbelieveable! The thanksgiving decorations were done up so wonderfully and you could really feel the spirit moving in the sanctuary today! From Songs like Days of Elijah to Blessed Be Your Name to Forever to I Could Sing of Your Love Forever! It's amazing how many people really get into the music when we (the worship team) are playing it. From the stage it is an awesome thing to see people lifting their hands up to the Lord.

At the beginning of the sermon, Joe Ludlow took the "Crave" group out for the weekly crave bible study. They were watching the Chronicles of Narnia movie and picking out the christian perspectives from it. VERY CREATIVE!

Speaking of kids, was the nursery ever packed! We seem to have more and more kids under the age of 3. It's awesome! One day those kids could be the leaders of our church!

The Band also played a selection today in the service titled " Who Is He", very well done!

God works in mysterious ways and thats what is so amazing about his power and glory.

"Give Thanks to the Lord, Our God and King, HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER"
