Christmas Kettle Update...As of Saturday, December 6th, 2008

We have a new Christmas Kettle total update, as of Saturday, December 6th, 2008 our new total is $64,532.50. Saturday proved to be another great day!! Thank you St. Albert and Spruce Grove!!! We are still in need of volunteers to man our Kettles...please call Donna at 780 458-1937 if you are able to give of your time. Our shifts and locations are flexible.

St. Albert Christmas Kettle Kickoff

Our Annual Christmas Kettle Kick-off took on November 21st at the St. Albert Steels Hockey Game. Many members from our Corps came along for support, as well as Majors Fred and Wendy Waters, Major Ken Percy, and we were pleased to have the presence of our mascot "Sallyann"...and although she may look a little more plump than last year, her enthusiasm was as magical as ever!! Below (L-R) are some pictures...The first is of Sallyann with Jennifer Lutz and the Kwak Family...they love Sallyann as if she were their own. Secondly, Captain Jason with Mayor Nolan Crouse...and in the final picture is Kianna King with Captain Gaye and Major Wendy. A great night was had by all!!!!

It's that time of the year again and we at The Salvation Army are out in full force!!! Our Christmas Kettles can be found in a number of locations throughout St. Albert and Spruce Grove. Our grand total, as of Monday, December 1st is $37,366...WAY TO GO ST. ALBERT & SPRUCE GROVE!!!! Our goal this year is $150,000. All of the funds raised on The Salvation Army Kettles in St. Albert and Spruce Grove stay in the communities to help those who are in need.
